THREE / NINE-MONTH SEDIMENT FILLTER CHANGE

  1.  Turn off water supply at the Angle Stop Valve.

    2.  Turn off water supply at the Main Valve.

    3 Turn off Tank Valve.

    4. Open ROCCS Faucet to relieve Pressure.

    5. If you are able to remove ROCCS from cabinet and lay it on floor do so.

    6. Using the supplied housing wrench, loosen the sediment canister then stand ROCCS upright

and unscrew canister, this way only a little water will spill on to the floor rather than in cabinet.

    7. Discard old filter and clean canister with soap or bleach, then rinse canister really good.

8 . Install new filter and reinstall canister hand tight.

    9. Lay ROCCS down and tighten canister with wrench.

  10. Put ROCCS back in cabinet.

  12. Turn on Angle Stop Valve, then Main Valve and check for leaks.

  13. If no leaks found open Tank Valve.

  14. Open ROCCS Faucet, let water run for 30 seconds.

     SIX-MONTH FILLTER CHANGE

  1.  Repeat steps 1 thru 8 of the three / nine-month filter change

  2.  Repeat steps 6 thru 8 for each of the 2 Carbon Filter one at a time.

  3.  Lay ROCCS down and tighten all 3 canisters with wrench.

  4.  To replace the Post Carbon Filter on top of the ROCCS, you may need to use a Razor Blade to cut the 3 water lines that are attached with screw on connections. Make cut, where the line goes into the screw on connection. Remove old filter and install new filter, reinstall the three lines by pushing the cut lines into the new push in connecters. Make sure that line is pushed in all the way in then pull, on line to seal it. If you not have screw on connectors, Push line in hold the sealing ring to the connector and pull out the line. Install new filter, reinstall the three lines by pushing the cut lines into the new push in connecters. Make sure that line is pushed in all the way in then pull, on line to seal it

  5.  Put ROCCS back in cabinet.

  6.  Shut Off ROCCS Faucet.

  7.  Turn on Angle Stop Valve, then Main Valve and check for leaks.

  8.  If no leaks found turn, open ROCCS Faucet and let water run for 1 hour.

  9.  After 1 hour, Shut Off ROCCS Faucet, open Tank Valve.

  10.  Open ROCCS Faucet, let water run for 1 minute.

     YEARLY FILTER CHANGE

  5.  Remove and replace the #3 Alkaline Filter. Make sure the water flow is in the same direction as old filter.

  6.  To Get to the Membrane Filter un-attach the clips holding the other 2 filters from the membrane. Un-screw the three lines from membrane (remember which line go where) remove membrane from clips be careful to not break off the water pressure gage.

  7.  With the membrane wrench supplied unscrew Cap.  This may not be easy. After cap is removed use needle nose plyers pull out old filter. Clean and rinse canister before installing new filter. To reinstall hold cap in hand gage facing down (make sure O ring not sticking up but down evenly inside the cap) screw canister in keeping it vertical, hand tighten making sure O ring is not pinched or you will get a leak. Tighten with wrench and put back in clip as removed and reconnect screw on lines.
